James Ward is Director UK Corporate at Friends Provident. In this role he is accountable for the profit & loss results of Friends Provident's UK Corporate Business, and directly responsible for the sales, marketing and strategy teams which cover the Corporate Pensions and Group Risk propositions.

James joined Friends Provident in 2004 as Director of Risk, in order to set up a central risk management function for the company. Previously he worked as a management consultant for many years, advising banks and asset management firms around the world on risk management strategy, processes and systems.
